The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the accounts receivable process, ensuring timely collection of payments, and maintaining accurate financial records. Helping with H2B visas/making sure all paperwork is correct. Be able to help with making sure all freight trucks are up to date on any requirements needed to be in the road. Duties Process and record accounts receivable transactions Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or PeopleSoft for data entry and account reconciliation. Perform account analysis and maintain accurate records of customer payments, credits, and debits.
• Conduct journal entries and maintain double-entry bookkeeping practices to ensure financial accuracy. Collaborate with the accounts payable team to resolve discrepancies and ensure seamless financial operations. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries related to billing and payment status. Assist in the preparation of financial reports and analysis as needed for corporate accounting functions. Maintain compliance with governmental accounting standards for non-profit organizations when applicable. Qualifications Proven experience in accounts receivable or related financial roles, preferably in public accounting or financial services. Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Quicken, Sage, or similar platforms. Strong understanding of financial concepts including revenue cycle management, credit analysis, and account reconciliation. Strong math skills with the ability to perform calculations related to debits & credits effectively. Exceptional phone etiquette and communication skills for effective client interaction. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
