Job Description

Inside Sales & Marketing Coordinator Ironrod Steel Co., LLC Houston, TX Job Details Full-time $20 - $22 an hour 2 hours ago Benefits Profit sharing Paid training Qualifications English Full Job Description Ironrod Steel Co.
  • East Houston
  • Full-time, in-person
  • $20/hr + commission We're a steel supply and fabrication company on the east side of Houston.
We sell structural steel, tube, plate, PBR panel, fence panels and gates to contractors, fabricators, fence companies, ranchers and people building their own projects. We're small, we're growing fast, and not everything is polished yet. We'll be straight with you about where we are. We need someone who wants to help build it. We're looking for one person who can do three things: 1. Sell. On the phone, every day. Call contractors, fabricators and past customers. Follow up on quotes. Open new accounts. Answer calls, texts and Facebook messages fast, and turn them into orders. Talk to people the way people actually talk. No script-readers. 2. Market. Shoot photos and short videos of our steel, our shop and our customers' finished jobs with a phone. Edit them. Post them. Help run our Facebook/Instagram ads, Google Business profile, email blasts and website. 3. Run the tech. You're the one who gets the new laptop, phone or email account set up without being walked through it. You know Google Workspace (Gmail, Sheets, Drive) cold. Microsoft is a plus. You already use AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude or similar) and want to learn more. We run a lot of our business on AI, and you'll learn a setup most companies don't have yet. You'll fit here if: You work hard and you want to. You're fine working every other Saturday. You're sharp and you learn fast. Show us once and you've got it. You have the entrepreneur bug. You think like an owner and you want to grow. You want to be somewhere a long time and grow with the company, not just pass through. Big plus (not required): construction, steel, building materials or fence experience
