Job Description
Outside Sales Representative, Bar & Restaurant Services (Commission + Bonuses) HTX TAP Houston, TX Job Details Contract $35,400 - $46,800 a year 2 hours ago Benefits Flexible schedule Qualifications B2B sales Full Job Description About the opportunity HTX TAP is a Houston bar and restaurant inventory management company. We perform weekly liquor and beer inventories and give owners a clear report showing where product, pour cost, and profit are slipping. We help operators protect their margins with facts they can act on. This is a flexible side job for someone who knows Houston hospitality and wants to earn extra income without leaving a current role. Most first conversations with an owner or GM take about 30 minutes. HTX TAP supplies the leads, target venue list, pricing card, talking points, sample audit report, one-page leave-behind, CRM, booking link, and hands-on training. You focus on starting conversations, booking walkthroughs, and signing good accounts. The opportunity can grow with you. Strong, consistent production can lead to a full-time sales and leadership role as HTX TAP expands, with a path to six-figure annual compensation under a future full-time plan. The role posted here is commission-only 1099, and the current pay plan is below. Why it works as a side job Flexible field time, mostly weekday afternoons and early evenings Focused owner and GM conversations that usually take about 30 minutes Leads, target venues, training, and every sales material you need are provided Our audit team fulfills the service after a clean handoff Room to build relationships, income, and a larger role as the company grows How you get paid Commission only, calculated on revenue the client actually pays, and we show you the math. $500 for every new client you sign at $1,000 a month or more, paid when their first invoice clears. $150 first-quarter bonus for every client still with us at their third monthly invoice. No cap. No clawbacks. Paid the same day the client's payment clears, per client. Four a month is the job, and it is not a stretch. Houston has thousands of bars and restaurants and you will be talking to 40 owners a week. Sign four in a month and on the 1st of the next month you are paid $2,000. From your third month on, the accounts you signed earlier start paying their $150 first-quarter bonus too, so a steady four a month is $2,600 every month, about $31,200 for the 48 accounts you sign in a year , with every account paying you again when it completes its first quarter. Sign five and it is $39,000. Sign six and it is $46,800.
