Compensation:

$17.13 per hour plus commission and performance bonuses. Estimated total compensation is approximately $21.51 per hour. Additional earning opportunities are available based on performance. About the Position LA Fitness in Puyallup is seeking an energetic, dependable, and goal-driven Membership Sales Advisor to join our team. This is a full-time sales and marketing position for someone who enjoys meeting new people, building community relationships, and helping individuals find fitness options that support their goals. This is an active, people-focused role combining membership sales, customer service, lead generation, local business outreach, and promotional events. Primary Responsibilities Welcome prospective members and provide personalized club tours. Learn each guest's fitness goals and recommend appropriate membership and studio options. Contact prospective members through telephone calls, text messages, email, and other approved communication methods. Generate leads through member referrals, community outreach, local business partnerships, and promotional events. Build relationships with nearby businesses, apartment communities, schools, healthcare offices, and community organizations. Accurately explain membership pricing, services, policies, and available promotions. Maintain organized prospect records and document daily sales and marketing activities. Consistently work toward individual and team performance goals. Provide professional service to current and prospective members. Represent LA Fitness professionally inside the club and throughout the community. Assist with other club responsibilities as needed. Qualifications Applicants must be at least 18 years old. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Friendly, confident, and professional demeanor. Self-motivated and comfortable working toward measurable sales goals. Dependable, organized, and able to follow through consistently. Comfortable initiating conversations and contacting prospective members. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. Basic proficiency with computers, email, and customer-management systems. Previous experience in sales, marketing, hospitality, fitness, retail, or customer service is preferred but not required. Schedule This is a full-time, on-site with outside events and marketing. The schedule will vary according to business needs and may include mornings, evenings, weekends, community events, and designated outreach periods. Applicants must have schedule flexibility.
