PURPOSE OF POSITION
The Sales & Catering Coordinator will support the day-to-day activities of the Sales & Catering Department and provide immediate support to their designated Sales Managers and/or Directors. Some immediately responsibilities would include assistance with BEOs, group resumes, contract merging, being an extra touch point for group and catering needs, Opera audits and various other tasks.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATES WILL HAVE
EDUCATION:
College degree or equivalent experience
EXPERIENCE
Sales & Catering and Hotel experience a plus Ability to read, write and speak English, using excellent grammar and communication skills Ability to effectively communicate with guests and staff in a friendly and positive manner Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint Ability to multitask and to be proactive Attention to detail is a must Excellent organizational skills. Possess a gracious, friendly, and fun demeanor. Ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment and have a high-level attention to detail. Ability to work independently and to partner with others to promote an environment of teamwork. Results oriented with the ability to be flexible and work well under pressure. Excellent interpersonal skills with strong written and verbal communication abilities. Ability to work a flexible schedule: weekends, holidays, AM, PM, overnight and overtime when needed.
