Job Description
Job Summary This is a Customer Service & Order Entry position that must have someone that is meticulous, has high energy, and considers multi-tasking to be a strength. Responsibilities for this job include, but are not limited to answering inbound telephone calls, responding to inquiries and concerns, order entry and processing, inventory analysis, and other special projects. This person must work well in a team environment and have excellent communication skills, as s/he works closely with the Sales team as well as production, accounting, and operations staff. This position requires identifying problems and working with the company's team to find and implement the solution. Responsibilities Provide exceptional sales support by assisting customers with inquiries, order processing, inventory analysis, and account management Answering and addressing high volume of incoming orders via phone, email, text, and walk-in customers Acting as a liaison among the production plants, company locations, customers, and vendors Effective communication with sales staff and vendors to ensure a clear understanding of customer needs, pricing maintenance, and profitability Accurate high volume data entry of orders into the system Detail-oriented to analyze and resolve customer inquiries, concerns, and order problems Proactively keeping track of inventory - stock and order materials when needed to ensure accurate and on-time delivery for customers Coordinating deliveries of incoming and outgoing shipments Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent Associate Degree in Accounting or related field (2 years proven work experience may satisfy educational requirement) Proficiency with computers and software programs such as Excel is required Manufacturing and inventory experience preferred
