Job Description

The Sales Operations Specialist at A&B Process Systems JBT Marel Corporation plays a crucial role in supporting the sales team's effectiveness and efficiency. This position involves optimizing sales processes, managing data, and providing actionable insights to drive revenue growth and improve overall sales performance.
Job Responsibilities:
Prepare estimated cost and schedule for custom tank and skids fabrication Develop and maintain customer relationships and help scope new projects Value engineer customer projects to improve cost, expedite delivery, or increase equipment performance Assist sales team in communicating project scope, demonstrating company value, and winning projects Develop expertise in A&B capabilities and offerings Communicate with other estimating team members, sales, design, engineering, and manufacturing to develop pricing and project execution plan Coordinate and develop relationships with external vendors to confirm component and material price and lead time Review estimated vs. actual job performance, research variances, and initiate corrective action as needed Assist the Estimating Supervisor in establishing priorities, workload balance, reviewing estimates and proposals for accuracy of labor and material Challenge specifications to ensure alternate approaches have been explored to ensure customer's requirements regarding budget, schedule, performance, documentation, quality, and safety will be met Identifies areas of improvement that will eliminate waste, improve productivity and gain efficiencies while supporting safe work practices. A Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Engineering or similar degree or field experience with technical sales or estimating background is preferred. A proven track record of success in a directly/closely related field will be considered in lieu of degree.
