Job Description

Outside Sales Rep We are looking for an experienced Building Materials Sales Rep/Estimator responsible for selling a wide variety of our building products through the achievement of opportunity-based sales. The Outside Sales Rep will reach business targets through effective management of designated territories and physical visits to customer and contractor sites and locations. The Outside Sales Rep will also develop ongoing, profitable relationships with customers and continually maintain professionalism, integrity, passion, and top shelf communication to both internal and external customers. Opportunity for over $100k with bonus structure.

Full Time Responsibilities for the
Sales Rep:
Ensure delivery of target sales by meeting with customers and maintaining relationships Recommend service and product enhancements to improve sales potential Analyze plans and trends to ensure best assignment of territories, clients, and service distribution Maintain technical and professional knowledge by reviewing professional publications, participating in industry networks, and growing lasting client relationships Establish sales objectives by projecting expected sales volumes and forecasting. Remain relevant with economic indicators, changing trends, supply and demand shifts, and product mix. Positively contribute to full sales and customer service teams Document customer interactions and maintain data related to activities, accounts, and vendor partners Develop and collaborate on long- and short-term sales strategies Requirements of the
Sales Rep:
Minimum 2+ years of outside sales or direct contractor sales experience in Construction Materials/Building Materials ( lumber , roofing, drywall, steel framing, windows preferred ) Strong organizational skills Ability to multitask and plan Do take-offs and estimates from blueprints World class customer service skills Market experience and knowledge Ability to recognize the client needs and sell within the catalog of products Budget development Process and people management Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills Resumes can be confidentially submitted to matt.schmidt@gogpac.com
