Job Description

JOB SUMMARY
The BCP Sales & Financing Coordinator is responsible for providing support for the Sales Department with financing, sales invoicing, customer documentation, and sales support activities.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Provide sales support to Sales Representatives and Caterpillar Financial during the financing and sales coordination process. Prepare and review finance quotes through CapitalStream system, communicate financial offers to the sales team and submit transactions through finance application. Coordinate documentation with credit analysts to support credit approval, funding, and customer signature processes. Monitor finance quotes, credit submissions, and funding status to help ensure timely completion. Prepare and support BCP machine and attachment sales invoices. Develop product knowledge of BCP machines, attachments, work tools, and related terminology to support accurate sales coordination and customer follow-up.
OTHER DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Support the Sales Department by answering telephones and assisting walk-in-customers.
  • Ensure accurate delivery reporting on all Sales, Rental and Machine Demos.
  • Assist Department Management with additional projects.
  • Accurately track and report on machines and other performance metrics aligned with Sales Department initiatives.
  • Cross train with other areas in the Sales Department to assist where needed .
QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE/SKILL/ABILITY
Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, follow instructions, and work effectively with customers, Sales Representatives, Caterpillar Finance, and internal departments. Basic computer proficiency, accurate data entry, and comfort working with standard office equipment. Ability to accurately review, process, and maintain quotes, invoices, financing information, and related documentation. Intermediate math skills, strong attention to detail, organization, and timely follow-up. Prior knowledge of machines, attachments, work tools, equipment financing, or internal sales systems is helpful, but not required. Wiliness to learn basic equipment knowledge, product terminology, systems, processes, and role-specific skills needed to be successful in this position. Able to support sales department with accurate and timely work.
EDUCATION OR FORMAL TRAINING
  • Minimum High School graduate or equivalent, post High School education preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting and finance principles.
  • Training or experience with Excel required.
EXPERIENCE
  • Keyboard, telephone skills, knowledge of PC and mainframe computers, operating copy, fax machines, and general office equipment.
  • Experience with Microsoft, Word, Power Point, Outlook and Excel.
  • Experience with standard office equipment and business communication tools.
  • Experience in project development & completion. Willingness to make suggestions to management team.
  • Experience with customer service and data entry is preferred
PHYSICAL/ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Office environment requiring professional dress and appearance.
  • Primarily involved in office activities.
  • Sit and or stand 6-8 hours per day. Be prepared to work longer than normal days.
  • Use hands and feet for fine manipulation.
  • Lift 20 - 40 pounds.

Pay:
$20.50 - $25.60 per hour
