This position is responsible for developing new business, maintaining existing customer relationships, and achieving sales targets within assigned territories. The ideal candidate will have experience in international logistics/freight forwarding and strong customer relationship and sales skills. Key Responsibilities Achieve agreed-upon sales quotas and business targets Develop new accounts and maintain existing customer relationships Meet customers and develop new business opportunities Develop business for international import/export, ROA, triangular trade, and distribution cargo Research prospective customers and generate new sales leads Prepare rate quotations and credit terms according to company policies Build and maintain professional relationships with customers and vendors Evaluate customer potential and identify new business opportunities Assist with quotes, contracts, renewals, and sales activities Prepare monthly sales reports and activity reports Monitor past-due accounts and review customer credit information Coordinate with internal departments to resolve customer and operational issues Use CargoWise and related systems for billing, rates, AR/AP, and documentation Promote web tracking services to customers Delegate accounts and support other Sales Team members as needed Participate in departmental meetings and support continuous process improvement Maintain strong communication with management, staff, customers, and vendors Qualifications Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent combination of education and experience 2-3 years of experience in a similar sales/logistics position Experience in international freight forwarding or logistics preferred Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal Strong customer service, communication, organization, and multitasking skills Basic math and computer skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Windows Experience with CargoWise is preferred Ability to travel by car and plane as required Previous supervisory experience is preferred Work Environment Primarily office-based Frequent business travel may be required Ability to occasionally lift or move up to 25 lbs.
