This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for supervising and developing an Inside Sales team while managing an individual book of business. The successful candidate will lead by example, supporting team performance, fostering strong customer relationships, and contributing directly to revenue growth through account management and sales activities. The position will be working out of our Grand Rapids, MI. Roles and Responsibilities Provide all coaching, sales mentorship and training for team members
Provide a cohesive and collaborative culture promoting open, frequent communication
Drive hiring process for new team members as necessary
Appraising performance in all sales functional areas
Drive sales and margin growth that align with corporate/regional strategies
All other duties as assigned or duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice Requirements Bachelors Degree preferred
3-5 years of progressive levels of sales experience in the metals industry preferred
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated leadership abilities to include ownership of performance management responsibilities
Knowledge of metals prices, inventory and quality
MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) proficiency
