Manager of Lifetime Services Sales TGW Systems Inc - 3.6 Grand Rapids, MI Job Details Full-time 22 hours ago Qualifications Managing sales strategy or development teams Sales team management Sales leadership Full Job Description The Manager, Lifetime Services Sales is responsible for leading and executing all sales and business development activities within TGW North America's Lifetime Services (LTS) organization. This role drives order intake, revenue growth, and profitability by developing strategic sales plans, managing pipelines, expanding customer relationships, and identifying new business opportunities. The position provides leadership to the Technical Sales and Parts & Warranty teams, while ensuring alignment with company objectives and customer needs.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Leads all sales activities for TGW North America's Lifetime Services organization to achieve order intake, revenue, and profitability objectives. Develops, maintains, and executes strategic sales plans, forecasts, and opportunity pipelines to support long-term business growth. Directs and develops a team of technical sales professionals, fostering accountability, collaboration, and performance excellence. Evaluates and qualifies leads, opportunities, and projects to ensure alignment with strategic objectives, resource availability, risk tolerance, and profitability targets. Partners with internal stakeholders to develop comprehensive customer solutions and gain crossfunctional alignment on sales strategies and project execution plans. Cultivates and strengthens relationships with key customers and strategic accounts to identify growth opportunities and enhance customer satisfaction. Leads customer presentations, contract negotiations, and commercial discussions to secure profitable business opportunities. Monitors market conditions, industry trends, and competitor activity to inform business strategy and identify new revenue opportunities. Ensures accurate sales reporting, forecasting, and opportunity management within the company CRM and other business systems. Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field required, or equivalent work experience.
Experience:
Minimum of five (5) years of sales leadership/management experience within the material handling, automation, intralogistics, or related technical industry.
Travel:
Up to 40% of travel required. Skills & Abilities Demonstrated success developing sales pipelines, securing new business, and achieving targets. Proven experience leading and developing high-performing sales teams. Excellent customer service, customer relationship management, and presentation skills. Contract negotiation and account management experience. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Advanced proficiency with CRM and related sales software. Physical Requirements Ability to remain stationary at a desk for prolonged periods of time. Ability to go to site frequently and move safely around industrial and/or warehouse environment. Ability to lift and carry supplies up to 25 pounds at a time. Ability to operate computers, tablets, phones, and other electronic devices. Ability to communicate with others verbally and in writing, on a frequent basis. Ability to tolerate exposure to job site temperature fluctuations due to seasonal weather in geographic region.
