This position will begin part-time during an initial training and probationary period , with the opportunity for increased hours and advancement as the employee develops. Insurance experience is preferred, but not required. Training will be provided regardless of prior experience. We specialize in commercial trucking insurance, and our processes and coverage needs can be very different from other insurance offices. We are looking for someone who is willing to learn our systems and procedures from the ground up. Responsibilities Answer phones and document client calls and requests Process Certificates of Insurance (COIs) Monitor agency email and identify items requiring action Enter and update information in our agency management system Create and maintain electronic client files Request and track insurance loss runs Communicate with clients and insurance companies Track outstanding requests and follow up through completion What We're Looking For Bilingual Strong attention to detail and organization Good written and verbal communication in English/Spanish Strong computer skills and ability to learn new technology Ability to follow procedures and manage multiple tasks Dependable and willing to ask questions rather than guess Able to read a request, understand what is being asked, and take appropriate action Interested in learning and taking on greater responsibility Prior insurance or office experience is helpful, but the ability to learn, stay organized, and follow through is more important to us than years of experience. As you master the fundamentals, you can begin learning policy servicing, endorsements, driver and vehicle changes, trucking coverages, applications, renewals, carrier communication, and account management. Starting Pay:

$13.00-$16.00 per hour, depending on relevant experience and skill level
