Job Description

Solar Sales Representative - Appointment Setter (Entry Level) LGCY Power ONE Division Rancho Cucamonga, CA Job Details Full-time | Contract $40,000 - $90,000 a year 13 hours ago Benefits Paid training Opportunities for advancement Flexible schedule Qualifications Spanish Outdoor work experience English Driver's License Customer relationship management Door-to-door Email outreach prospecting Full Job Description Who we are LGCY Power is one of the fastest-growing residential solar sales organizations in the country, and
LGCY ONE
is the team building it out across the Inland Empire. We are not a call center and we are not a kiosk. We are a field sales team that knocks doors, builds real relationships in real neighborhoods, and helps homeowners cut a utility bill that goes up every single year. The Inland Empire runs hot, runs air conditioning, and runs on SCE. Summer bills here get people's attention on their own. Your job is to be the person who finally explains the alternative. Our territory covers Rancho Cucamonga, Ontario, Fontana, Upland, Chino, Corona, and Riverside. The role As a Setter, your job is to knock doors, start conversations, and book qualified appointments for our closers. You are the front of the funnel. You do not need to know how to design a system or run financing. You need to be able to talk to people, handle a no without flinching, and get a homeowner to agree to a 45-minute sit-down. This is the entry point into solar, and it is the fastest one. Most of our top closers started here. What you will do Knock assigned territory 5-6 days a week, typically afternoons into early evening Open conversations with homeowners about their SCE bill and rising rates Qualify for homeownership, roof condition, credit, and utility provider Book appointments on the closer's calendar and confirm them Show up to daily team huddles, training, and role-play Track your knocks, contacts, and sets in the CRM What you need Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license Willingness to work outdoors on your feet for extended periods, including Inland Empire summer heat Availability weekday afternoons/evenings and Saturdays, when homeowners are home Thick skin and a short memory. You will hear no far more than yes Coachability. If you can take feedback and apply it the same day, you will make money here Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus, not a requirement No solar or sales experience required. We train from zero What you earn $2,000-$8,000 in commission per deal, depending on system size and deal profile $750 fast pay on M1, paid after site survey. You do not wait until install to get paid Tiered split that climbs as you produce: 35% on your first 5 deals, 40% on deals 6 through 10, then 50% from deal 11 on Uncapped. There is no ceiling on how many deals you set The split is not a carrot we dangle. It is a schedule. Hit 5, hit 10, and the percentage moves. The path after 10 deals Once you have 10 deals on the board, you become eligible for solar closer training. That is the real reason to take this seat. The setter role is how you get paid while you learn the business, and the consultant track is where the ceiling goes up. We train and support you from the ground up. You will not be handed a script and sent to a street alone. What we offer Paid, hands-on training. You knock with a trainer before you knock alone Daily coaching from leaders who still knock doors themselves A promotion path based on production, not tenure Company trips, incentives, and competitions for top producers Real leadership opportunity on a team that is actively expanding How to apply Click Apply on this posting. Attach a resume if you have one. If you do not, apply anyway and tell us about your work history in a few sentences. We care more about work ethic than paperwork.
