$150,000+ OTE (Top performers earn $175,000•275,000) Job Description Harvest Power is seeking a motivated In‑Home Solar Sales Closer to support residential solar growth across Nassau County and Suffolk County on Long Island. This is a field‑based, outside sales role focused on meeting homeowners face‑to‑face, understanding their energy needs, and guiding them through the decision to go solar. This role is well‑suited for sales professionals who enjoy consultative selling, take ownership of their pipeline, and are motivated by performance‑based earnings. This is a field‑based position covering Nassau and Suffolk Counties. Representatives travel directly to customer homes and are not required to report to an office daily. About Harvest Power Harvest Power is a nationally recognized leader in the solar energy industry, providing full‑service residential and commercial solar energy project management, including design, engineering, and installation of solar energy systems. Responsibilities Generate revenue by closing residential solar contracts Work 15-25 pre‑qualified in‑home appointments per month and take ownership of converting those appointments into signed solar contracts with minimal supervision Conduct 2-4 in‑home discovery consultations per day to understand homeowner goals, energy usage, and property suitability Present customized solar proposals, including system design, pricing, financing options, and projected electricity savings Close an average of 6-10 contracts per month, representing approximately $250,000•450,000 in gross revenue Prospect approximately 2 hours per day through follow‑ups, calls, referrals, and pipeline outreach Maintain and manage an active sales pipeline using Salesforce CRM Handle pricing discussions and competitive situations professionally Qualify homeowners for available financing options and explain next steps clearly Ensure all contracts and financing documents are completed accurately and on time Collaborate with Business Development Representatives to ensure appointments are well prepared Share customer feedback and local market insights across Nassau and Suffolk Counties Monitor projects post‑sale to support a smooth installation and positive customer experience Continue developing product knowledge, sales skills, and closing effectiveness Qualifications Experience in outside sales, account executive, or in‑home consultative sales preferred Solar, home improvement, or high‑ticket B2C sales experience a plus 3+ years of sales experience, or a strong foundation with a proven work ethic Comfortable presenting and closing high‑value proposals, including financing discussions Strong face‑to‑face and phone communication skills Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends Organized, dependable, and detail‑oriented Comfortable using CRM tools such as Salesforce Professional written communication and email etiquette Interest in long‑term growth within a performance‑driven sales organization Compensation & Benefits Uncapped commission structure Primary compensation is commission‑based, with earnings directly tied to performance Base salary available, provided performance quota is consistently met and maintained First‑year on‑target earnings of $150,000+ Top performers earn $175,000•275,000+ 401(k) retirement plan with company match Paid Time Off (PTO) Health, Dental, and Vision insurance Ongoing training and advancement opportunities
