Duties Stock shelves with fresh produce, packaged goods, and grocery items, ensuring products are organized and properly displayed to maximize sales potential. Utilize RF scanners to accurately track inventory levels, process shipments, and update stock records in real-time. Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts to load, unload, and move heavy merchandise safely within the warehouse or stockroom. Conduct regular inventory control checks to identify stock discrepancies, damaged items, or expired products, maintaining optimal stock levels. Assist with shipping and receiving tasks by verifying incoming shipments against purchase orders and preparing outgoing deliveries. Maintain cleanliness of storage areas, stockrooms, and sales floors through routine cleaning and maintenance tasks. Support merchandising efforts by arranging products attractively on shelves and ensuring compliance with store standards. Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions about product locations or availability in multiple languages if needed. Collaborate with team members on stocking schedules, organizational improvements, and safety protocols to ensure smooth store operations. Experience Proven experience working as a grocery stocker or in a retail warehouse environment with familiarity in inventory management practices. Hands-on experience operating RF scanners, pallet jacks, forklifts, and other warehouse equipment is highly preferred. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer needs. Knowledge of grocery store operations including stocking procedures, merchandising standards, shipping & receiving processes, and retail math principles. Physical capability for heavy lifting regularly throughout shifts while maintaining safety standards. Previous experience in produce handling or retail sales is advantageous but not mandatory.
