This position is responsible for maintaining a fresh, clean, organized, and fully stocked produce department while providing excellent service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Stock, rotate, and merchandise fresh produce using proper rotation procedures. Inspect products regularly and remove damaged, spoiled, or outdated items. Maintain attractive, full, and accurately signed displays. Assist customers with product questions, selections, and item locations. Monitor inventory levels and communicate low-stock or quality concerns. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety requirements. Clean and sanitize displays, prep areas, equipment, coolers, and storage areas. Receive and properly store deliveries. Reduce shrink through careful handling, rotation, culling, and proper storage. Support department resets, seasonal displays, and promotional merchandising. Perform other duties as assigned by department or store leadership.

Qualifications:

Strong customer-service and communication skills. Dependable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team. Ability to follow instructions and maintain attention to detail. Previous grocery, produce, retail, or food-handling experience is preferred but not required. Availability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to bend, reach, push, pull, and perform repetitive tasks. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Ability to work in refrigerated and varying-temperature environments.

From $18.60 per hour
