This person will have the task of ensuring that items in a stock room are transferred to the appropriate location within a retail store so that floor inventory can remain strong and customers can get the products they want when they want them. Must be detailed oriented and able to lift 50+ lbs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Must be able to help process truck deliveries, including stacking 100+ cases of beer, wine, and spirits. This is primarily a stock position, and we need someone to help with truck days. Cashier duties will be secondary. Check customers out at cash register. Must be comfortable handling cash and verifying proof of age for all customers who appear to be under the age of 30. Process sales accurately and efficiently, with a great attitude and customer service skills. Receives and unpacks merchandise. Marks items with prices and stocks shelves. Assists customers with transferring large packages to their vehicles. Counts and stores items to help maintain an adequate inventory. Ensures that merchandise is stored in an orderly manner and is easily accessible when store shelves need to be replenished. Inspects new stock for damages or defects and goes through the proper channels to have the stock returned. Labels stock for identification purposes. Assists customers with finding merchandise when working on a retail floor. Answers customer questions regarding items that are in or out of stock The shifts we are looking to be filled are 9:00 AM
