Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic Full Time Dairy Clerk to join our team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the dairy section's organization, ensuring product freshness, and delivering outstanding customer service. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create a welcoming environment where customers can find quality dairy products easily and efficiently. Duties Stock and replenish dairy products on shelves, ensuring proper placement and presentation. Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, rotating products for freshness, and conducting regular stock counts. Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and RF scanners to load, unload, and organize shipments safely. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dairy section, including cleaning shelves and packaging areas. Assist customers with product inquiries, provide knowledgeable recommendations on dairy items, and support retail sales efforts. Ensure safe lifting practices when handling heavy or bulky items to prevent injuries. Support shipping & receiving processes by loading and unloading deliveries efficiently. Skills Proficiency with RF scanners, forklift operation, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment. Strong inventory management skills with experience in stock control and merchandising. Excellent communication skills; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers. Warehouse experience including manual handling, shipping & receiving, and materials handling equipment operation. Retail store experience with knowledge of grocery store operations and product knowledge in dairy or produce sections. Basic math skills for inventory counts and pricing accuracy. Customer service orientation with organizational skills to keep the work area tidy and efficient. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while adhering to safe lifting practices.
