Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused General Merchandise Clerk to join our team. As a General Merchandise Clerk, you will be responsible for assisting customers, maintaining inventory, and ensuring the store is clean and organized. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced retail environment.

Duties:

• Assist with retail inventory of three locations, company car provided
• Assist customers with locating and selecting merchandise
• Operate cash register and handle customer transactions accurately
• Clean and organize shelves, displays, and aisles
• Package merchandise for customers
• Stock shelves and maintain inventory levels
• Provide exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction
• Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) are a plus
• Utilize RF scanner to track inventory and cycle count Equipment Used to

Perform Job:

Pallet jack, computer, handheld computer, two-wheeler, telephone, C.A.R.S. system, box cutter, and calculator.

Experience:

• Previous experience in retail sales or customer service preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Must be able to physically perform medium work: exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and 20 pounds of force frequently, and 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
