Responsibilities Stock shelves efficiently using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts when necessary Operate RF scanners to accurately track inventory movement and update stock records Manage inventory control by conducting regular stock counts, monitoring product expiration dates, and replenishing supplies promptly Handle shipping and receiving duties by loading and unloading products safely, ensuring proper storage and organization Maintain cleanliness of the work area, including cleaning shelves, packaging products, and organizing stockroom spaces Assist customers with product inquiries, provide excellent customer service, and support retail sales efforts Support merchandising initiatives by arranging products attractively to maximize sales potential Qualifications Previous warehouse experience or retail store experience preferred; familiarity with grocery store operations is a plus Proficiency in operating material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts (certification preferred), and shipping & receiving tools Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a busy environment Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are advantageous for serving diverse customer bases Basic math skills for inventory management, pricing accuracy, and transaction processing Knowledge of grocery store product knowledge, produce handling, packaging, and merchandising standards Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while adhering to safe lifting practices and manual handling protocols Demonstrated ability to work independently or as part of a team with a positive attitude toward maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety Join us in creating an inviting shopping environment where quality products meet exceptional service!
