Processing donations, which includes acceptance, cleaning and placement in sales area. Greeting customers, responding to questions, improving engagement with merchandise and providing outstanding customer service. Maintaining an orderly appearance throughout the sales floor. Introducing promotions and opportunities to customers. Processing donations, which includes acceptance, cleaning and pricing.
The ideal candidate:
Able to lift heavy items with ease; team lifting techniques and equipment will be provided for items over 50 pounds. Maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment. The ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time. Habitat for Humanity of Pitt County associates, regardless of hired position, may be asked to move/transport objects (large and small) exceeding 5 pounds. This includes lifting items up to 50 pounds on their own, using designated team lifting techiniques for items weighing between 50 and 80 pounds, and the recommended lifting equipment to position items exceeding 80 pounds.
