Job Summary We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Product Salesperson to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently processing sales transactions, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining accurate cash handling procedures. This role requires a strong understanding of retail operations, basic math skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The Product Salesperson plays a vital role in ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers while supporting the overall store operations. Responsibilities Operate cash registers accurately and efficiently during retail sales transactions Handle cash drawer with care, ensuring proper cash management and balancing at shift end Provide exceptional customer service by assisting shoppers, answering questions, and addressing concerns Maintain knowledge of store products to assist customers and support merchandising efforts Stock shelves and organize merchandise to ensure the sales floor remains tidy and inviting Support merchandising activities by arranging products attractively and replenishing stock as needed Perform basic math calculations quickly and accurately to process transactions and give correct change Ensure compliance with all cash handling procedures and store policies Contribute to a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for both customers and staff Requirements Previous experience in retail or customer service roles is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided Strong basic math skills for handling transactions accurately Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude Ability to operate a cash register efficiently and handle cash drawer responsibly Good organizational skills for stocking and merchandising tasks Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours as needed Join our team as a Product Salesperson if you enjoy working with people, have a keen eye for detail, and are committed to delivering excellent service.
