Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Stocker to join our team in a high end retail store. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our inventory is organized, stocked, and readily available for our customers. This role requires strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with team members. Duties Manage inventory levels and ensure accurate stock counts using RF scanners. Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely to load and unload products. Perform heavy lifting as required, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury. Assist in shipping and receiving activities, including checking in products and preparing outgoing shipments. Ensure products are properly packaged and labeled for distribution. Collaborate with team members to maintain cleanliness and organization within the store. Provide excellent customer service when interacting with retail staff or customers regarding product availability. Utilize merchandising skills to effectively display products in accordance with company standards. Maintain communication with management regarding inventory needs and any issues that arise. Experience Previous experience is preferred, particularly in inventory management and control. Experience in retail store environments is beneficial. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are necessary for maintaining accurate inventory records. Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting, cleaning, stocking, and merchandising effectively.
