Day shift schedule:

Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM start, overtime and weekend work are required based on business needs, and schedules may vary based on production volume.

Responsibilities:

Prepare, clean, wash, chop, peel, weigh and package fresh produce (fruits and vegetables) using commercial-grade kitchen knives and various kitchen tools and processing machinery. Adhere to strict food safety protocols, clean and sanitize tools and workspaces to comply with food regulations, and carry out additional tasks as directed by shift leaders and management Qualified candidates must meet the following requirements: Able to work in a refrigerated environment year-round (36 degrees). Able to stand for most of the shift and use both hands. Must possess basic knife skills (cut, chop, slice…etc.). Strong understanding of food sanitation/cleanliness is required. Able to lift up to 50 pounds infrequently. Prior experience in a food environment is a plus. Excellent attendance is required for success in this role. Great communication and teamwork skills Work with the team to assure consistent quality, service and cleanliness. Ability to work in fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment. Must be 18 years of age. Compensation commensurate with experience.
