THE POSITION
As a Corrections Stock Clerk for the Department of Corrections, you will help maintain order and efficiency within the institution. This position allows you to be a key player in organizing inventory and supporting daily operations. Your efforts will keep important materials moving safely through SCI Camp Hill. You will join a team that values dependability, teamwork, and steady performance.
DESCRIPTION OF WORK
This role supports the daily flow of materials and helps maintain secure and organized operations within the facility. As a Corrections Stock Clerk, you will perform the following duties:
Inventory Control:
Receive and track stock items while ensuring proper storage and accurate documentation
Commissary Tasks:
Process inmate commissary orders and maintain complete transaction records
Inmate Oversight:
Guide inmates in work tasks and maintain attendance and progress information
Equipment Operation:
Operate forklifts and other equipment to move heavy materials safely
Reporting Duties:
Compile sales data, input inmate payroll information, and prepare reports Interested in learning more? Additional details regarding this position can be found in the position description.
Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Full-time employment
Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday
- Friday, with a paid lunch.
Telework:
You will not have the option to telework in this position.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
One year of stockroom, warehouse, retail sales, or clerical experience; or
An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Additional Requirements:
Successful Completion of basic training of Elizabethtown, PA
You must be able to perform essential job functions.
