INSPECTION/FEED ASSOCIATE JOB TYPE AND CLASSIFICATION

Full-Time Hourly Non-Exempt

JOB OVERVIEW

MAC.BID buys truckloads of customer returns and overstock products, then sells these items individually to the public through online auctions. The inspection/feed associate prepares and positions the product for the Scan Team. This position reports to the Scan or Big Box Scan Team Lead.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Inspect inbound products for obvious defects Categorize each product as Like New, Open Box, or Damaged Test electronics at a basic level to assess general condition Move products to the conveyor for the scanners to process Perform other tasks as assigned by management

QUALIFICATIONS

Availability to work on-site. Schedules may vary Monday through Saturday, depending on location, 8-hour shifts with a 30-minute lunch break, hours determined by workload and Management Must be able to lift 25 pounds alone, 50 pounds with a team lift Must be able to stand and walk for hours at a time Must be tech-savvy Must be able to follow written directions and company policies High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
