With principal offices in McAllen, Texas, and other international facilities and strategic alliances in Central and South America, our mission is to grow and distribute the best mangos and exotic fruits so our clients enjoy delicious fresh products. We're looking for a detail-oriented Produce Repack & Quality Control Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting incoming fresh produce, sorting and repacking items to meet quality and safety standards. The goal will be to ensure that only fresh, high-quality produce is packed and distributed while minimizing food waste. Responsibilities Examine fresh fruits for defects, bruising, spoilage or size inconsistencies, discarding product that does not meet company standards. Carefully sort bulk produce and repack it into designated boxes to specific weight and packaging guidelines. Label repacked containers accurately and stack boxes onto pallets securely for shipment or storage. Help maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facilities Skills Previous experience in warehouse, grocery retail, agricultural or food production environments is preferred but no required. Ability to quickly spot minor imperfections, mold, color variations, or damage in fast-moving product lines. Able to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs as needed. Ability to work comfortably in a temperature-controlled, refrigerated warehouse environment. Strong teamwork skills and the ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions. High school diploma
