Job Description
Receive & Issue Material Receive and assess condition and correctness (such as revision level or part number verification) of material received, inducted and/or to be issued.
Build and issue kits based on information contained within shop packets issued by materials planners.
Provide material to shipping department for transport to customers.
Generate paperwork associated with shipping, kitting, assemblies and other ISO and material requirements.
Assist internal customers (production, customer service, engineering) with material issues when required, assuring prompt customer service. Maintain Inventory Records Enter receipt, issue, ship and all other associated material transactions into inventory system. Storage and Inventory Support Clean, maintain and organize stock, stockroom and kitting shelves.
Perform weekly cycle counting, reconciliation and reporting as required.
Perform annual physical inventory.
Provide recommendations for inventory reductions or increases to improve cost savings/avoidance.
Recommend more efficient methods of storing/organizing material.
Advise supervisors and management of all non-standard conditions or when questions arise.
