A Stocking Clerk replenishes and organizes shelves in a retail store. Unpacks and checks inventory received in a warehouse or stockroom, moves products to fill shelves and retrieves orders for customers or sales associates; may add labels or prices to products.

We are currently looking for a Part time Produce Clerk in our Jericho, VT store who is interested in working to gain experience in our Produce Department learning all aspects of merchandising, cleanliness, and safety.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES
Assume duties of other team mates when one is out due to personal or other work related obligations. This may require extra hours during these times. You will receive the required training for any position you are asked to cover for Responsible for assisting produce manager in ordering, ensuring proper receiving, unloading, storage, and rotation of merchandise and building of displays and exceeding health department and food safety standards. Ensure produce shelving and display units are maintained, cleaned and organized. This includes ensuring all products are tagged and/or labeled properly. All product must be properly rotated. Work towards learning all aspects of the current position and position yourself to take on more responsibility to go to the next level. Maintain produce display, prep and storage areas in clean, orderly condition, Assist with monthly department inventories as directed Assist customers with produce questions and special orders. Offer samples and suggestions for purchase and preparation in a friendly, courteous manner.
