Job Description

Position Summary The Drive-Through Donations Intake Associate plays a vital role in supporting our mission by welcoming donors, receiving donated goods, and ensuring donations are handled with care and respect. This position serves in a fast-paced, outdoor, drive-through environment and requires a servant-hearted attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to safety and teamwork. Key Responsibilities Greet and assist donors warmly, expressing appreciation for their generosity Provide a positive, respectful donor experience that reflects the organization's faith-based values Receive and unload donations efficiently to maintain steady traffic flow Sort and evaluate donated items according to resale, recycling, and ministry guidelines Communicate donation guidelines clearly and graciously Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe donations intake area Practice proper lifting techniques and follow all safety procedures Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily intake needs Represent the organization's mission, values, and Christian hospitality always Qualifications Committed Christian who is committed to Christian Education in general, and LCS in particular. High school diploma or equivalent preferred Ability to lift and move items up to [30-50] pounds with or without reasonable accommodation Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Dependable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment Respect for and alignment with the mission and values of a faith-based organization Skills & Attributes Servant-minded and team-oriented attitude Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work efficiently while remaining courteous and patient Attention to safety, organization, and quality Work Environment & Schedule Outdoor drive-through donations area Physically active role requiring standing, walking, bending, and lifting
