Engineering and Technology Location University of West Alabama Open Date Sep 03, 2026 Description Teach Engineering Technology courses on-campus as assigned by the Department Chair. Teach other courses as qualified and when assigned, either on-campus or online. Work with student advising, committee assignments, appropriate public service, research, professional development, and other tasks as assigned. Develop and design a curriculum that supports the constant improvement of student learning. Pursue independent, externally funded grants/opportunities. Build and sustain partnerships with community, business, and industry. Hold regular on-campus office hours and advise students at all levels. Work within teams to deliver productive outcomes aligned with workplace objectives. Perform other duties as assigned by the Department Chairperson and/or Provost.Salary:
Dependent upon credentials and experience; includes an excellent benefits package.Qualifications Required:
Earned Doctorate (Ph.D.) in Engineering Technology, Engineering, Industrial Technology, or Manufacturing Technology. Experience teaching college courses Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively with administrators, faculty, staff, and students from varied socio-economic and ethnic backgrounds.
