Description:
The Technology Specialist will support the goals of the technology department by maintaining systems, peripherals, applications, and network infrastructure.
Preferred Qualifications:
(Equivalent experience will be considered) Experience with: Microsoft Windows Servers and Active Directory Chromebook, PC, laptop, and tablet operating systems, hardware, and software/apps Cloud services such as Google Workspace or Office 365 Wireless networking installations, hardware, and configuration management Technology installation, support, and maintenance Video monitoring systems Network maintenance, including switches and related hardware Demonstrated good communication, attendance, time management, attention to detail, and organizational skills Demonstrated good teamwork qualities, including follow-through and ownership College degree (or equivalent) in computer science or related fields is helpful
Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist with management and physical maintenance of network infrastructure (wireless, switches, physical cabling, and servers) Assist with managing Active Directory environment, including users, groups, and group policies Assist with managing Google and Office 365 administrative functions Ensure efficient and timely responses to technology helpdesk tickets by the tech support team Deployment and maintenance of desktop hardware and operating systems Install and maintain: Classroom and enterprise technology tools Desktop applications Server-based applications Online-based applications Create and maintain knowledge base articles and FAQs for users Assist with maintaining users across multiple systems, including logins and related data Monitor software license compliance Provide technology training to school staff Occasional off-hours work, including live broadcasting of School District events Other duties as assigned by the
