Work you'll do

The Support Associate IT Services is responsible for performing all aspects of hardware deployments, including equipment configuration, imaging, and quality assurance. Key areas of responsibility include maintaining client images for laptop deployment, performing QA checklists on all equipment, meeting deployment timelines, troubleshooting problems, tracking and accounting for all assets, maintaining up-to-date documentation on lab processes, and making process improvement suggestions to lab leadership.

This is an in-office role which works 100% onsite (five days a week) at our Lake Mary, FL Deloitte location.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in deploying laptops throughout the organization; configure settings on Windows and Apple laptops. Performs quality assurance and compliance checks on all devices and equipment prior to deployment.
  • Identifies and troubleshoots hardware and software issues.
  • Assist with providing offices with laptops for large training programs, special projects, and regional load balancing inventory. Must work with offices throughout the nation to coordinate shipping of assets and to ensure assets are delivered within the specified time to meet the office requirements. Assist with preparation of laptops for end-of-life disposal and assist with coordination of disposal.

Receives shipments and performs check-in of items verifying accuracy of orders and reconciles to purchase orders. Compare supplier's packing slip with purchase orders and receipt for accuracy. Conducts research on orders, provides status to management, and assists with reconciliation of purchase orders.

Assist the ITAM senior, lead, and regional asset manager to ensure equipment availability for deployments. Always maintains deployment lab organization including tracking and accounting for all assets.

Assist with the preparation of disposition of assets from other regions. Must communicate with Local Asset Coordinators, EOX Site Managers, Regional Asset Managers, and national teams.

Assist with the movement of laptops in and out of the repair department and the preparation of status reports for review of meeting SLAs.

Create and provide reports to supervisors and other team members that detail the status of workstation deployments and the location of organizational assets.

Responsible for submitting OneProcess and ServiceNow documentation and updates as deployment practices evolve.

Using Active Directory to manage accounts, profiles, and policies.

Provide support to the Technology team as needed. Must be able to work with minimum supervision and prioritize tasks.

Be able to lift to 50lbs and push heavy carts.

Work overtime and possible weekends/holidays as required.

The Customer Technology Services team is EOX first line of contact with personnel. Providing walk-up support, asset management, PC compliance, and mobile devices support, EOX provides hands-on support to Deloitte employees.

Qualifications

Required:
  • Associate degree or an equivalent level of training or experience.
  • Experience at workstation deployment, workstation image creation, and management.
  • Possess knowledge of MS-Office products including MS Outlook and Excel.
  • Be able to lift to 50lbs and push heavy carts.
  • Onsite at Lake Mary, FL Deloitte office with ability to work overtime, including nights and weekends as needed (e.g. provide after-hours support on a rotational basis with occasional travel required to offices in local geography).
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
Preferred:
  • HP, Dell and Apple certification
  • IAITAM certifications a plus
  • Must be able to interact with all levels in the organization.

This compensation range is specific to {insert location} and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
