Job Requisition ID #26WD100432Position OverviewTechnical Sales Specialists partner with Autodesk sales teams and authorized resellers to assist in developing, managing, and executing strategies for closing business while improving Customer Success in their Digital Transformation journey. They meet with individuals at all levels within a customer's organization to understand their issues and position solutions while discovering business opportunities for Autodesk. A Senior Technical Specialist is a strategic individual who leads and presents all technical sales aspects of the Autodesk platforms and establishes innovative new ideas for growing Autodesk's business. Uses in-depth industry and software knowledge to uncover customer business issues, propose improvements, and achieve technical closure. They are actively involved in their industry's community by promoting Autodesk's unique business values. The AEC Technical Sales Specialist will focus on infrastructure solutions and be based in Bogotá, reporting to the LATAM Technical Sales Director. The territory to be covered is all North of LATAM (Colombia, Ecuador, Peru). We support hybrid work; you will be expected to travel 50% of your time. No relocation support will be provided for this position.

ResponsibilitiesPerform in-depth assessments of customer processes. Investigate, discover and understand the customer's business issues. Utilize knowledge of business trends, technology, and industry changes to identify areas of opportunity for customer process improvementCapture metrics for quantifying and justifying the customer's return on investment (ROI) for the purpose of technical closure. Work with Autodesk partners when needed for the adoption of proposed Autodesk solutionsPosition and sell Autodesk's unique business value in competitive situationsPresentations, demonstrations, and discussions may be in-person, web-based, or via other mechanismsInfluence product development and product direction through customer feedback and identified business opportunitiesPartner with sales representatives to assist in the development, management, and execution of strategies for closing businessSupport the success of Autodesk resellers by mentoring reseller personnel on technical sales activities and execution. Support internal sales and team learning through the creation of sales contentParticipate in company-sponsored events and trade shows to promote Autodesk's solutions and the customer business issues they targetDiscover customer business and technical processes/workflows/requirements to build a \
