The Role MedGEO is seeking a Clinical Implementation Specialist with a minimum of 3 years of experience working in perioperative services . Candidates may come from a variety of perioperative backgrounds, including: Operating Room Nurse Surgical Technologist Sterile Processing Technician Perioperative or Procedural Services Specialist Other roles with significant hands-on experience supporting surgical and procedural environments As a Clinical Implementation Specialist, you will play a critical role in the successful deployment, training, go-live, and adoption of MedGEO technology. You will work directly with nurses, surgical technologists, sterile processing teams, perioperative leadership, administrative staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure MedGEO is successfully incorporated into existing clinical workflows. This is a hands-on, customer-facing position . During customer implementations and go-lives, you may serve as one of MedGEO's primary onsite representatives and will be responsible for helping clinical teams understand the technology, successfully incorporate it into their daily workflows, and become comfortable using the platform independently. Because every implementation is different, this is a per diem position with hours ranging from approximately 4 to 40 hours per week , depending on customer rollout and go-live needs. Smaller deployments may require only several hours of support, while larger hospital or health-system implementations may require multiple consecutive days or a full workweek. Some travel will be required for customer implementations and go-lives. Scheduling and anticipated travel requirements will be communicated in advance. What You'll DoClinical Implementation & Go-Live Support Support onsite and remote implementation of MedGEO across operating rooms, procedural areas, surgical centers, and related clinical environments. Assist with workflow assessments before implementation to understand how each customer currently manages surgical documentation, supplies, implants, preference cards, and related perioperative processes. Help incorporate MedGEO into existing clinical workflows while minimizing disruption to frontline teams. Support implementation planning, customer readiness, system rollout, and go-live activities. Provide hands-on support to users during initial deployment and stabilization. Identify workflow issues, adoption barriers, and implementation challenges and communicate them to MedGEO's internal teams. Assist with troubleshooting and problem-solving during live clinical operations. Training & Education Deliver hands-on training to OR nurses, surgical technologists, sterile processing personnel, clinical staff, and administrative users. Demonstrate MedGEO functionality and teach users how the platform fits within their existing workflow. Adapt training based on the needs, experience, and responsibilities of different user groups. Support customer onboarding and ensure users have the resources, training, and guidance needed for successful adoption. Provide refresher training and additional support when needed. Help identify and develop customer super-users and champions who can support continued adoption. Adoption & Change Management Help clinical teams transition from existing processes to new MedGEO-supported workflows. Observe how users interact with MedGEO during real-world procedures and identify opportunities to improve adoption. Reinforce best practices and help users become comfortable incorporating the technology into their daily workflow. Work with customer leadership and MedGEO's Customer Success team to identify adoption gaps and areas requiring additional education or support. Help ensure that new workflows are practical, sustainable, and aligned with the realities of the perioperative environment. Product Feedback & Field Insights Serve as an important connection between frontline users and MedGEO's Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and leadership teams. Collect feedback from nurses, technicians, sterile processing teams, and other users regarding workflow, usability, and functionality. Document recurring workflow challenges, product issues, and opportunities for improvement. Translate observations from the field into clear, actionable feedback for internal teams. Support rollout and validation of new functionality and workflow improvements. Assist with product testing and real-world validation when needed. Reporting & Implementation Documentation Document implementation progress, customer feedback, workflow observations, training completion, and adoption issues. Assist with tracking utilization and other implementation metrics. Provide clear updates to MedGEO project and customer-success teams regarding customer readiness, adoption, risks, and follow-up needs. Maintain organized documentation related to customer implementations and go-lives. Candidate Experience & Requirements Minimum 3 years of professional experience working in perioperative services, an operating room, surgical services, sterile processing, or a closely related procedural environment. Experience as an OR nurse, surgical technologist, sterile processing technician, or similar perioperative professional . Strong understanding of perioperative workflows and the realities of working within operating rooms and surgical environments. Familiarity with surgical documentation, supplies, implants, instrumentation, sterile processing, preference cards, and/or procedural workflows. Comfortable working directly with nurses, surgical technologists, sterile processing staff, physicians, clinical leadership, and hospital administrators. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to confidently train individuals and groups on new technology and workflows. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to remain calm and effective in fast-paced clinical environments. Comfortable learning new technology and healthcare software platforms. Ability to communicate observations and customer feedback clearly to internal technical and operational teams. Strong organizational skills and ability to follow implementation plans and customer schedules. Ability and willingness to travel for customer implementations, training, and go-lives. Preferred Experience Prior experience implementing or supporting healthcare technology. Experience training clinical teams or serving as a clinical educator, super-user, preceptor, or technology champion. Experience with healthcare software such as Epic, Oracle Health/Cerner, HST, SIS, CensiTrac , or other perioperative or sterile-processing systems. Experience supporting technology implementations, workflow changes, or process-improvement initiatives. Experience working with implant- or supply-intensive specialties. Experience participating in hospital or ASC technology go-lives. Schedule This is a per diem / PRN position focused primarily on implementations, training, and customer go-lives . Hours will vary based on customer needs and may range from approximately 4 to 40 hours per week . Some customer sites may require only several hours of onsite training or implementation support, while larger hospital or health-system deployments may require several consecutive days or a full 40-hour week. Some travel will be required to support customer implementations and go-lives. MedGEO will provide deployment schedules and anticipated travel requirements in advance whenever possible.
