Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Cagewash Technician II to join our Insourcing Solutions team, located in Collegeville, PA. As the Cagewash Technician II, support vivarium operations by independently performing cagewash and sanitation activities while maintaining high standards of animal care support, compliance, and operational efficiency. Additional Responsibilities Include Perform cagewash and sanitation duties accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with SOPs and audit requirements. Operate cagewash systems proficiently, including proper use of detergents, disinfectants, and wash parameters. Inspect sanitized equipment and identify or correct minor process deviations. Troubleshoot routine equipment issues, including incomplete cycles, loading concerns, and temperature inconsistencies. Assist with preventative maintenance activities and escalate complex equipment concerns when necessary. Support accurate inventory management through following the receiving, stocking, storage processes. Ensure accurate documentation, labeling, and storage compliance. Assist Animal Care Technicians with cage preparation, staging, and transportation of animals or materials as appropriate. Promote workflow efficiency by prioritizing high-volume and time-sensitive sanitation needs. Identify safety concerns, compliance risks, and process improvement opportunities. Support onboarding and training activities as assigned. Maintain consistent attendance and adherence to scheduled work hours. Job Qualifications To qualify for this role, candidates must have the following education/experience: High School Diploma or GED. Minimum one year of cagewash experience within a laboratory animal facility; experience handling chemicals, detergents, and disinfectants safely; experience with receiving and inventory-related responsibilities.
