This hybrid role in Irving, TX focuses on rebuilding reports, validating data across systems, and helping ensure a smooth go-live with strong documentation and stakeholder alignment. Responsibilities Develop and execute test cases to support user acceptance testing and business validation activities Analyze existing reports, document logic, and help define future-state reporting requirements Rebuild reports and validate outputs across multiple systems to support accurate business reporting Perform data reconciliation and validation across Yardi, Investran, and Snowflake Track, triage, and manage defects through resolution and retesting Support trial balance, general ledger, and financial reporting validations Document findings, reconciliation results, report specifications, and sign-off materials Partner with business and technical stakeholders to support testing and successful go-live readiness Skills Strong SQL skills Python experience for data validation and automation Hands-on experience with UAT planning, test case creation, execution, and defect management Ability to validate data, identify discrepancies, and reconcile results across systems Background in financial reporting or fund accounting concepts such as GL, TB, and COA Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills High attention to detail and the ability to work effectively across business and technology teams Preferred Skills Exposure to Snowflake Experience with code-based BI tools such as Streamlit Background using Power BI or Tableau Advanced Excel skills Experience reverse engineering reports and defining KPIs Familiarity with financial systems and reporting workflows Horizontal is committed to fostering an inclusive environment where diverse perspectives are valued and everyone has the opportunity to contribute and thrive.
