Job Description
Looking for a sales position without the pressures of traditional sales targets and commissions to make a highly competitive salary?... then keep reading! Kuhner Shaker Inc. is the US subsidiary of Kuhner Shaker AG, based in Basel, Switzerland. Our customers are laboratory scientists — from academic labs to global biotechnology corporations — who rely on our equipment to deliver world-changing technologies and therapeutics. We take great pride in our relentless support of their efforts and build lasting relationships with our end users. Life at Kuhner is different. We're a small, family-run company where your contributions matter, get recognized, and get rewarded. We're looking for someone who wants a career, not just a job — and we offer a generous (European-style) PTO plan because we know you will work hard and deserve a life outside of work. We prioritize lasting customer relationships over transactions, which is why we offer highly competitive base salaries instead of commissions. We're looking for someone who shares this mindset and can be a trusted partner to our customers and colleagues. We're looking to expand our team by adding a technical sales scientist to based near a biotechnology hub in the Mid-Atlantic or possibly Southeast region (South of New York down through the Carolinas). You will build on an existing, productive territory and contribute directly to our nationwide growth. If you appreciate being part of a small, close-knit team in a fun, well-paced environment — and you're the type who enjoys working independently and delivering results that get noticed, rather than sitting in meetings — you'll fit right in here. We work hard and are 100% committed to our customers, while placing a high priority on work/life balance.
