DITCH WITCH OF THE CAROLINAS
Compact Equipment Sales Rep An industry leader in sales and service of underground utility and construction equipment, has serving the Carolinas since 1974 with headquarters in Charlotte, NC and three full-service branches in South Carolina. We carry a large line of underground utility and construction equipment backed by a strong support system. This position specializes in our compact line & will "Tow & show" equipment with demonstrations on customer job sites . Protected territory and products, brand recognition, an outstanding support team, and a large and diversified customer and market base.
Primary Responsibilities:
Demonstrate & sell our full compact line (Ditch Witch, Morbark, Rayco,, Boxer, New Holland equipment, Hammerhead, Subsite Electronics, trailers & multiple attachments.) Demonstrate equipment on customer job sites in assigned territory. Plan & execute sales strategies Facilitate the sales process from prospecting to the closing of the sale
Requirements:
Previous sales experience in construction equipment sales or related industry preferred Integrity Competitive Assertive Strong work ethic and desire to be successful Self-starter Mechanical aptitude a plus 5-year driving record deemed insurable by our insurance carrier. Can start @ 7 a.m. and work flexible schedules Monday - Friday to meet customer needs Must qualify to obtain D.O.T. Ability to load, transport, operate, demonstrate our compact equipment line Must enjoy the construction industry and working outdoors Some overnight travel required Basic MS Word, Email & CRM proficiency College degree preferred Benefits Base salary + commission + incentives; Strong earnings potential based on results Company pays 100% of employee's medical, dental, vision and short-term disability insurance; $15,000 life insurance policy Additional supplemental insurance plans available Vacation, Sick time, Bereavement pay Holidays Company one-ton truck Mobile phone/Laptop Outstanding Product Support Team Brand Recognition We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
