Who are we looking for? We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Service Engineer who combines strong technical expertise with excellent customer-facing skills. The ideal candidate will have experience in specialty chemicals or related industries, a passion for solving complex technical challenges, and the ability to support customers with innovative solutions that drive business growth. What will you be doing? Provides customers with on-site process expertise, chemical change implementation, monitoringand hands-on process control assistance for the manufacture of printed circuit boards Understands and articulates PCB chemical functions and related process requirements tocustomers Performs regular health checks and process audits for various production processes at customersites, generates reports and reviews with end users Assists with regular lab testing functions/analysis with customer lab personnel and providestraining, when necessary, on best practice functions, tests and analysis. Troubleshoots and diagnoses equipment and or process problems and provides hands-on supportto correct problems and optimize customer manufacturing processes. Adheres to plant and corporate safety policies. May assist in other areas or perform other duties as required by fluctuating business needs. Coordinates daily activities with territory Account Manager and Business Director Is an expert and steward for customer final product quality using MacDermid products Identifies opportunities for growth at all customer locations Assists with the monitoring and control of on-hand inventory at customer site Who are You? Bachelors (required) or Masters (preferred) in Chemistry or related field Strong understanding of chemistry and chemical interaction within the PCB manufacturing process Willingness to travel within the assigned territory and periodically to accounts in North America Eastern Region Six Sigma knowledge would be good but not required, company training available We understand that not all candidates may meet the requirements listed above. The typical base salary range for this position is anticipated to be between $95,000 and $143,000 annually.
