School-Based Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) | Schnecksville, Pennsylvania ProCare Therapy - 3.9 Schnecksville, PA Job Details Full-time | Contract Qualifications Occupational Therapy Assistant License COTA Full Job Description Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) degree, active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license, and 1+ years Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A Preschool Early Intervention COTA position is available in Schnecksville, PA, providing essential occupational therapy services across Carbon and Lehigh Counties. This contract role offers the opportunity to support young children through individualized itinerant services within early intervention and potentially school-age programs, requiring flexibility to work with students from PreK through 12th grade.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver occupational therapy services in preschool early intervention settings Provide itinerant services across multiple locations within Carbon and Lehigh Counties Adapt caseload throughout the school year to include school-age students as needed Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement therapy plans Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with program and state guidelines Participate in ongoing communication with families and educational staff
Qualifications and Experience:
Active Pennsylvania COTA licensure is required Current NBCOT certification number and Pennsylvania PPID number required Demonstrated experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in early intervention or school settings Ability to provide in-person services across multiple locations Flexibility to manage a caseload spanning PreK through 12 students Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with families and school staff
Location:
While the main office is in Schnecksville, Pennsylvania, services will be provided itinerantly throughout Carbon and Lehigh Counties.
Schedule:
This position requires 35 hours per week, with assignment dates starting ASAP through the 2026-27 school year. Early intervention services operate year-round, while school-year assignments follow a school calendar. This opportunity offers a meaningful role in supporting children's developmental needs through early intervention with a dynamic, flexible caseload.
