Multiple contract positions are open for the 2026/2027 school year within Carbon and Lehigh Counties, where you'll be integral in supporting students as part of a collaborative school-based team.
Qualifications & Experience Needed:
Active Pennsylvania COTA license (required) Current NBCOT certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (non-negotiable) Prior experience with students, ideally in school-based or special education settings Comfortable serving students with disabilities and tailoring interventions to diverse needs Willing to work in both Carbon and/or Lehigh County areas Availability for a school-day schedule, up to 35 hours per week, aligned with assigned school calendars Ability to participate in an in-person interview
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver occupational therapy services to students as directed by supervising OTs and IEP requirements Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to support the educational goals of each student Document progress, maintain compliance with state regulations, and contribute to IEP and team meetings Promote skill development for independence in both academic and functional school environments Adapt strategies and materials as needed to ensure accessibility for all students This contract allows you to make a significant difference throughout the academic year while gaining sought-after school-based experience.
