Category Schools - COTA Job Type Contract Discover an engaging opportunity working with K-12 students in a supportive, dynamic educational environment. Step into a fulfilling contract role designed for passionate Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) who thrive on delivering impactful services to students across diverse settings. You'll collaborate with educators and families, serving multiple schools throughout Hendry County. Flexibility and a love of travel are essential, as this role involves commuting to campuses spanning the county. Your expertise will help students achieve their communication goals and unlock their full potential. Qualifications and Experience Active SLP or SLPA license for the state of Florida Previous work in a school setting preferred Willingness and ability to travel throughout Hendry County Strong communication, organization, and time management skills Commitment to supporting students from a wide range of backgrounds Role Responsibilities Deliver speech and language therapy to K-12 students in accordance with IEP goals Conduct assessments, maintain accurate documentation, and track student progress Consult and collaborate regularly with educators, families, and other related professionals Provide services at multiple sites—ensuring continuity of care and individualized support Participate in IEP meetings and contribute insights to interdisciplinary teams This flexible position is ideal for professionals who enjoy building relationships in different school environments and making a positive difference.
