Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a meaningful contract opportunity supporting students' communication growth for the 2026-2027 school year. This position is ideal for a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), Clinical Fellow (CFY), or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) eager to make a tangible difference across a diverse student population. Hours offer some flexibility, with the traditional school day running from 8:00 a.m. to 3:15 p.m.—elementary dismissal is earlier, lending room for individualized scheduling preferences. You'll work with a focused caseload of approximately 15-20 students, ranging from Pre-K through 12th grade. SLPA candidates will be considered for this role, primarily supporting elementary students under the direct guidance of an experienced SLP.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or current SLPA credential (as applicable) Active CA licensure or credential eligibility as required for
SLP/SLPA
Open to both Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) applicants Previous experience in a school setting (highly preferred) Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for working collaboratively with students, families, and staff
Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders for a varied student population Develop and implement IEP goals in close partnership with the educational team Maintain timely and accurate records consistent with compliance and best practice standards Provide consultation and support for teachers and families
For SLPAs:
deliver therapy services to elementary students while under SLP supervision
