We're looking for dependable, safety-focused drivers to transport our amazing students to and from school and activities. If you're calm under pressure, value safety above all else, and don't mind being called "Bus Driver!" about 100 times a day — this might be the perfect role for you! If you aren't currently a driver and would love to become one, we have a training program for you! Just let us know when you apply that you'd like to train to be a bus driver. What You'll Do Safely transport students on assigned routes and to special events Conduct pre-trip and post-trip bus inspections Follow all federal, state, and local safety regulations Keep students safe, secure, and on their best behavior Communicate with dispatch regarding route changes or updates Secure wheelchairs, car seats, and safety restraints as needed Complete required reports and documentation Participate in ongoing training and required drug testing Perform emergency evacuation drills (safety always comes first!) Keep your bus clean and ready to roll You'll be the first smile many students see in the morning and the safe ride home they rely on in the afternoon. What You'll Need Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Valid Ohio school bus pre-service certificate Clean driving record Ability to pass required physical (T-8) and drug screening Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safe driving practices Ability to manage student behavior in a calm, professional way Reliability, independence, and good communication skills Not yet fully certified? Ask us about training opportunities! What the Job Is Like You'll work on a school bus in all kinds of Ohio weather It can get loud (kids + bus = energy!) You'll sit for extended periods and operate foot controls Must be able to assist with emergency evacuations (up to 50 lbs) Why This Job Matters School bus drivers are essential to student success. Compensation:
