Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic opportunity supporting students' needs in an educational setting, utilizing your Occupational Therapy expertise to make a meaningful difference. This contract role begins as soon as possible and continues through June 24, 2026, with the potential for extension into extended school year (ESY) or next school year (NSY) programs. You'll enjoy a consistent, full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week, fostering both professional growth and continuity with your students.
Qualifications and Experience:
Valid Occupational Therapy (OT) license required Prior experience in school-based OT preferred Comfortable working with pediatric populations, including diverse learning and physical challenges Proven ability to collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to support students' goals Experience in Home Health or general healthcare OT is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
Assess students' occupational therapy needs and implement appropriate interventions within IEP requirements Develop and execute individualized treatment plans with clear, measurable goals Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to support holistic student development Consult with teachers and caregivers to facilitate accommodations and promote student independence Maintain documentation in compliance with school, district, and regulatory standards Participate in IEP meetings, progress monitoring, and periodic reevaluations as required
