Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a full-time Occupational Therapist supporting students in schools near Carterville and Murphysboro, Illinois. This is an engaging role for the 2026-2027 academic term, lasting from August through May. You'll have the chance to make a significant difference in students' daily lives and educational journeys while collaborating with a dynamic team of professionals. As an Occupational Therapist in a school-based setting, your expertise will help students develop, improve, or regain the skills essential for classroom learning and participation. The specific caseload details will be provided soon, ensuring a tailored match to your skills and experience.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Master's degree (or higher) from an accredited Occupational Therapy program Active state licensure as an Occupational Therapist, or ability to secure Illinois certification before the start date Previous experience in a school environment or with pediatric populations is highly valued Excellent communication and collaboration skills Proficiency in adapting therapeutic interventions to fit IEP goals and diverse student needs
Key Responsibilities:
