Job Description
Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic role supporting students' growth and development through occupational therapy in an engaging school environment. This contract opportunity, situated in the scenic area near Naples, ME, is ideal for passionate professionals eager to make a meaningful impact throughout the 2026-2027 school year. Enjoy working part-time, with a commitment of 15-18 hours per week. You'll collaborate with educators and families to help students reach their fullest potential, implementing interventions that improve skills for school success.
Qualifications & Desired Background:
Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) Experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations Strong knowledge of school-based OT best practices Ability to conduct assessments and develop individualized intervention plans Effective communication skills for collaborating with staff, students, and families Organized, resourceful, and proactive approach to caseload managementKey Responsibilities:
Evaluate and identify students' needs within educational settings Design, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans Support the development of fine motor, sensory processing, and self-regulation skills Collaborate with teachers and special education staff to integrate strategies into classroom routines Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and required documentation Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal-setting for students This position allows you to make a real difference within a supportive school community while enjoying a flexible part-time schedule.
