Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic role supporting school communities as a School Psychologist for the 2026-2027 academic year. This contract opportunity welcomes both onsite and virtual professionals, offering the flexibility to engage with students from preschool through 12th grade. Located near Greenville, MI, this position is pivotal in providing psychological services, conducting special education evaluations, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the best possible outcomes for students. What you'll bring: Master's Degree (or equivalent) in School Psychology Current approval by the Michigan Department of Education as a School Psychologist Strong assessment, evaluation, and report-writing skills Effective communication abilities when working with educators, families, and students Adaptability to serve a diverse student caseload and adjust to evolving priorities Key responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations for students identified for special education services Provide recommendations and intervention strategies tailored to student needs Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and other school professionals to support the development and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) Maintain timely and accurate documentation in line with state and district requirements Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team discussions, and staff consultations Adapt role responsibilities as district needs evolve throughout the school year This position offers the satisfaction of directly impacting student success and well-being in a supportive school environment.
